GOSSIP-WOMAN HACKED TO DEATH BY THIEVES. A British woman has been hacked to death byfour men who stole her jewellery while onholiday with her family in Bangladesh.The 43-year-old from Stepney was on holidaythere with her husband and 12-year-old sonwhen she was killed in a violent robbery.The Foreign Office has confirmed the death ofRehana Begum, in the northeast of thecountry.A spokesman said: "We are aware of thedeath of a British national, Rehana Begum, inSunamganj, Bangladesh on 2 August."We are providing consular assistance to herfamily at this difficult time."Her nephew, Abdul, told the BBC that MrsBegum had been visiting her family inBangladesh.He said: "It happened this morning. She hasbeen hacked to death by four people forjewellery and money."
